School Of Pharmacy Certificate Programs
CHALLENGE
The Dean of the School of Pharmacy and Director of the Office of Continuing Education and Certificate Programs wanted to increase registrations for certificate programs offered through the School of Pharmacy to test the viability of expanding the office into a viable source of revenue. I worked to create a marketing and communications strategy to drive registrations.
STRATEGY
I created a social media template to promote all Certificate Programs using photography from School of Pharmacy photoshoots. The template allowed for quick edits of a branded post and the ability to schedule posts on social media for the entire semester at a time.
I created a flyer for faculty and staff to share via email or handout at conferences, events and more. Like the social media template, the flyer template allowed for quick and easy updates.
I utilized several different email lists, including School of Pharmacy alumni, School of Pharmacy preceptors and a list of opted-in pharmacists interested in CE programs offered through the Duquesne University School of Pharmacy and social media posts to promote the Continuing Education Winterfest, posting several times on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram encouraging pharmacists to sign up.
SOCIAL MEDIA

I collaborated with the Director of Continuing Education and Certificate Programs to build a segmented email list to share upcoming program information.

REGISTRATION FORM
I branded the registration form to ensure consistency.

FLYERS
I created digital (and print) flyers to distribute at events and share with strategic parters.

RESULTS
Increased registrations for School of Pharmacy certificate programs by 53 percent in the 2020-21 academic year by creating branded webpages, social media templates and marketing collateral, developing a social media marketing plan and streamlining the registration process for the Office of Continuing Education and Certificate Programs
